Lead Language Consultant 

David has over 10 years of diverse teaching experience and leads the languages provision across the Harris Federation.  Prior to completing his PGCE in French at the Institute of Education in 2010, David taught English in France, as well as Maths and ICT in Norway.  He is an experienced teacher trainer and has taught pre-school, primary, secondary, undergraduate and postgraduate students.  He is an active member of the Association for Language Learning’s National Council, blogs on MFL for Oxford University Press and studies a Master’s in Education at King’s college London. David is a passionate believer in languages for all and, along with Jacqui Lomas, wrote the initial bid for Harris to become the Swire Chinese Language Foundation’s London Centre. Since December 2018, he has also worked for the government-funded National Centre for Excellence for Language Pedagogy.
